Wax - Britney

Athens, Ohio

MONOLOGUE DESCRIPTION

Time: Now

Situation: Britney has been murdered but is worried they’ll be left in the woods restless for eternity if their mother doesn’t give them a proper burial.

Subject Matter: Death, Serial Killer, Murder, Tattoos, Family, Restlessness, Moon

Note from Playwright: I had recently watched the Ted Bundy documentary on Netflix. It was very informative and showed how despite his wrongdoings, people still found sympathy for him and his “lost potential.” I considered how one could feel if they saw the side of a victim directly from their perspective.
