PLAY DESCRIPTION

In THE WINDOWS, Lila can't figure out why her friend Vannie has suddenly become interested in art; specifically, paintings of windows. Vannie thinks her interest is perfectly logical. Until the three paintings of windows behave in a most illogical fashion.

MONOLOGUE DESCRIPTION

Time: Future                                   

Situation: Vannie suddenly becomes captivated by three paintings of windows, and she lets nothing stop her from procuring them. When she has all three, something extraordinary happens.

Note from Playwright: Just before cancer took her from us, my cousin Jane had an exhibition of her paintings. Three of them were of windows. I sat in the gallery and wrote THE WINDOWS.
