Situation: Della Braxton, a young black woman, has just returned from a night out with her friends and brother. After a long argument accusing her brother's friend, Bill Stafford of sexually assaulting her, her mother, Lorna, has demanded the full story.

Note From Playwright: The second act of the play focuses on an issue that is prevalent today, but is not a recent development. The goal was to show the similarities between situations today and situations of the past, shining a light on women of color and their specific plight.
