Time and Place: October 22, 1962; Lower Middle-Class Bronx Apartment                             

Situation: Nina had big plans for her life. As the Cuban Missile Crisis heats up, she careens toward the delusional and laments a life unfulfilled. Nina shares her fantasies of how dying of Cancer would fix her “fat problem” and how glamorous her funeral would have been. She begins to make herself more presentable for imminent death with exaggerated make-up and a homemade funeral mass card.
