A Master of Fine Arts graduate in May 2017 from the Dramatic Writing program at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, Suzanne Bronson's black comedy, A REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY, was a 2018 semi-finalist for the National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. The play was also on the 2018 longlist for Theatre503's Playwriting Award.
Suzanne's full-length plays, THE NAIL SINGS and SPILL THE BEANS have had staged and unstaged readings in both New York and Colorado. As a guest artist in residence, Suzanne's drama MOTHAFCKERS: TALES OF MODERN GREEK was developed and performed in Mesa Lab at Colorado Mesa University in January 2018. The play went on to place in the second round of the Austin Film Festival's 2018 Stage Play competition.
Suzanne’s ten-minute plays, FOOL'S MATE was a November 2016 winner in Torrent Theatre's The Play Off! and FATHER, SON, AND COFFEE was a winner in the Clarke Hall's Thematic Thursdays in June 2017.
Suzanne’s nonfiction articles can be found in The Grand Valley magazine, The Daily Sentinel newspaper, and The Maverick magazine.
In addition to her two published books of poetry, her verse has appeared in The Aspen Daily News, Colorado Life magazine, and featured on Colorado Public Radio.
Suzanne also holds a Bachelors in English Writing from Colorado Mesa University and an Associates in Liberal Arts from the State University of New York.
