Steven Hayet


Steven Hayet is a New Jersey playwright whose work has been performed from Los Angeles to London and New York to New Zealand. His short plays include TALKING POINTS (City Theatre Winter Shorts), DATE WITH DEATH (Winner, Rover Dramawerks 10 Minute Play Contest), GEORGE ORWELL'S 1989: A “SWIFT” 10 MINUTE ADAPTATION (Week 1 People’s Choice Winner, Short+Sweet Hollywood), and PLAYING WITH FIRED (1st Place, Smith & Kraus’ Best Ten Minute Plays of 2019). He also co-wrote the screenplay for FRAME OF REFERENCE (Bronze Remi Award for Best Romantic Comedy, WorldFest Houston). He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and Rutgers University. Member of The Dramatists Guild.
