Steven Hayet
BIOGRAPHY
Steven Hayet is a New Jersey playwright whose work has been performed from Los Angeles to London and New York to New Zealand. His play EVERLASTING CHOCOLATE THERAPY was named a Finalist by the Acadiana Repertory Theatre and a Semi-Finalist in B Street Theatre's New Comedies Festival. His short plays include PLAYING WITH FIRED (Smith & Kraus's Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2019), DATE WITH DEATH (Edinburgh Fringe), TALKING POINTS (City Theatre Winter Shorts), and GEORGE ORWELL's 1989. He also co-wrote the screenplay for FRAME OF REFERENCE (Bronze Remi Award for Best Romantic Comedy, Worldfest Houston) which appeared at numerous film festivals including the Golden Door International Film Festival (Nomination, Best Local Film), the Puerto Rico Comic Con Short Film Festival, and the Long Island International Film Expo. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and Rutgers University. Member of The Dramatists Guild.
