Michael Walker

BIOGRAPHY

Michael is the author of nine full-length plays as well as one-acts and screenplays.  His award-winning plays have been produced in Virginia, Texas, Massachusetts, Virginia and New York City.  He has been an actor and director in professional theatre for forty years, including seven years as the Artistic Director of the Summer Theatre at Mount Holyoke, four years as Associate Producer and the Producing Artistic Director of Foothills Theatre Company in Worcester, MA and one year as the Managing Director of the Hampshire Shakespeare Company.  He earned a BA in Theatre Arts from UMass (Amherst) and an MFA in Playwriting from Brandeis University.  He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and the Dramatists Guild.
