Mark Blickley is a widely published and produced author of fiction, nonfiction, poetry and drama. He is the recipient of a MacArthur Foundation Scholarship Award for Drama and twice served as an Emmy Award Blue Ribbon Panelist. His plays have been performed both at home and abroad. His latest book is Sacred Misfits (Red Hen Press) and his art video, Speaking in Bootongue, was recently selected for the London Experimental Film Festival. A text based art collaboration with fine arts photographer Amy Bassin, Dream Streams, was published in Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art and exhibited at the 5th Annual New York City Poetry Festival. He recently published a text based art book, Weathered Reports: Trump Surrogate Quotes from the Underground (Moira Books, Chicago) that the publisher sent to the White House and Congress. Blickley is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and PEN American Center.
