Dominica Plummer


Playwright, dramaturg and educator Dominica Plummer is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama in the United States, and an alumna of Director and former National Theatre Literary Manager John Burgess’ 2014-15 playwriting group in London, UK. Recent work includes THE JINX, which was a quarter finalist for the 2017 Lakeshore Players 10 Minute Play Contest, and a finalist for the 2018 Midwest Dramatists Conference in Kansas City. Her play THE ASSIGNMENT was a finalist for the 2019 Parish Players TENS Festival in Thetford, VT. Her dramaturgy credits include work at the Guthrie Theater; the Cricket Theater in Minneapolis; the Minnesota Opera; the Yale Cabaret; the Yale Repertory Theater, and Shakespeare's Globe. As an educator, she has taught theater history, dramaturgy and playwriting at Yale; the College of Wooster; Dartmouth College, and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
