Devin Porter is a New York based playwright, poet, and fiction writer who uses writing to grant voice to the ones who aren’t heard. Devin graduated with honor distinctions from the University of Albany with a B.A in English, where he was a three-time Spellman Academic Award winner. Over the summer of 2019, Devin was selected for a two-week playwriting residency program to develop THE BODY OF WATER with The School of Making Thinking in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Also, his play LEGACY was selected for the festival History in ACTion; A Festival of New Historic Drama at Caesar’s Ford Theatre in Xenia, Ohio.
