MONOLOGUE DESCRIPTION

Time: Contemporary                                

Situation: Annie is an adolescent raised by a single mom. They have been living with her aunt who dies suddenly, leaving Annie adrift and depressed. Her mother has Annie put on antidepressants that turn her psychotic until she discovers the cause. Annie turns her life around and is now speaking to the school counselor about returning to school.
